To open a Hostplus SMI account, you'll need to have some information ready depending on whether your SMSF has a corporate trustee or individual trustee(s) structure.

Corporate Trustee

• Contact details - Each director must provide a unique email address and Australian mobile number.
• Identification - Each director must provide identification details (driver's licence, passport or Medicare).
• SMSF details - You'll need to provide the ABN and bank account details for your SMSF.
• Corporate details - You'll need to provide the ACN of the company that is trustee of your SMSF.

Individual Trustee(s)

• Contact details - Each trustee must provide a unique email address and Australian mobile number.
• Identification - Each trustee must provide identification details (driver's licence, passport or Medicare).
• SMSF details - You'll need to provide the ABN and bank account details for your SMSF.
• Trust deed - A copy or extract of your SMSF trust deed is required to validate the controlling trustees.

All applicants are also required to have read and understood all relevant compliance and disclosure documents including the Financial Services Guide, Product Disclosure Statement, Privacy Policy and Data Handling Statement.
